@sass I use @ivory as my main client and also have the official @Mastodon app installed for some settings Ivory doesn’t support (yet). Really dig @radiant too, such a great app and icon!

After 1047 days, my AirPods Max might be dead. 💀🎧
They fail to connect to devices 80% of the time, often requiring 2-3 factory resets before repairing. Battery drain is also an issue; they'll drop 80-90% overnight, even inside their case.

@BasicAppleGuy Read an almost identical story here on Mastodon just a day or two ago. Got AppleCare+ for mine and will make sure to get them replaced (or at least the battery) before the extended warranty ends. Hope the Genius Bar can help you 🤞

Ich hab mir an Tag 3️⃣ der neuen Einbahnstraße auf der Venloer Straße mal die Situation angeschaut. Immerhin ist es DER! -Hotspot in .
Dies sah zwischen 8:10 und 8:25 Uhr wie folgt aus:

👉 Kein Chaos
👉 Auf ein Auto kamen ca. 5 Fahrräder
👉 Es gab einen Blitzer
👉 Ordnungsamt war unterwegs
👉 Ein Auto fuhr gegen die Einbahnstraße

Fazit:
Die Venloer Straße hat sich durch die Einbahnstraße krass positiv verändert.
Ich bin echt überwältigt 👍👍

@DrSeltsam @Cityradler @fahrradkoeln @koeln Als Anwohner kann ich sagen, dass vor allem im Berufsverkehr die Vogelsanger und die ganzen Seitenstraßen nun teils hoffnungslos überlastet und verstopft sind. Das wird sich natürlich etwas legen aber das Problem wurde in Teilen einfach nur verschoben statt gelöst.

OpenAI's ChatGPT-4 update has made me reevaluate my opinion on Humane's upcoming weird device.

A voice-activated AI assistant that's always on and can search and extract information from the web might actually be quite significant.

Maybe not this specific one, but something like that, at some point...

@ivory There is a bug that happens occasionally where I long-press on one of the tab bar items and the item at the bottom then disappears. Can’t click it then. The “Customize All Tabs” option is turned off as you can see in the video. Ivory 1.6.4 on an iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 17. Happened on previous versions as well. Don’t know exactly when it started.

Traue mich ja schon gar nicht mehr ueber meine Zugreisen in zu berichten... das waere auch ein unfairer Vergleich gegenueber Laendern mit halbwegs entwickelter Infrastruktur.

Inzwischen ist es mir einfach egal. Ich habe mich damit abgefunden, dass ich nie(!) puenktlich bin und es von Hamburg nach Muenchen 6.5h dauert.

Das muss diese Deutschlandgeschwindigkeit sein, von der immer alle reden und die wird dem Land noch gehoerig auf die Fuesse fallen!

@pallenberg Keine Frage, hier läuft vieles schief und es gib viel Raum für Verbesserung, aber m.E. ist das dann doch ein Vergleich zwischen Äpfeln und Birnen (falls bspw. Taiwan hier als unausgesprochener Vergleich dient). Deutschland: 358.000 km² Taiwan: 36.000km², als gut Faktor 10. Der ICE zwischen Köln und Berlin (Sprinter unter 4h) oder Köln Frankfurt (Sprinter in 45 Minuten) bereitet mir selten Probleme. Kann das einfach nicht so stehen lassen. Ist mir schon (fast) zu populistisch 😅

@pallenberg Bin bei der generellen Aussage ja bei dir. Wünsch mir auch Verbesserungen bei Bahn und Schiene. Japan ist ein gutes Beispiel. Interessant ist, dass wenn man sich die (demokratischen) Länder in der Größenordnung von Deutschland anschaut, es mit Japan eigentlich nur ein Land gibt, welches eine bessere Infrastruktur in dem Bereich hat. Dass die „People's“ Republic of China das schafft, ist jetzt kein Wunderwerk. Da verzichte ich lieber auf ein Social Credit System und fahre mit der DB.
