I hope that fucking site (twitter) dies so a lot of the breaking news gets posted somewhere else. Basically I used nitter to follow specific users and lists related to the war in ukraine. Now, I don't know if I can bring myself to regularly login to that fucking birdshit site.
@justin if it can still set it up. RSS to get the headlines (and internal links to the actual sites) still work with no twitter login. But I imagine as soon as the light bulb goes off that will get blocked. What I’ve been using for local news since I deleted twitter….and they have not moved

I know these don't match @mastodonusercount for total users, they probably check different server lists than joinmastodon
