After about 6 months, I finished up a guitar I built for my 16yr old kid. We used maple (which is heavy, but sturdy). It's a Telecaster body style, and he picked out the electronics. We're both pretty happy with how it turned out!

@bedirthan I feel like being a sports fan is helpful in situations like this. It helps to remember that even the best players sometimes have an off day. And it's okay.

I have a new phone in hand. But the switching from old phone to new phone experience for so long was so poor that I don't really want to start the process.

I know in my head that it's much easier now.
