According to US Chess president Randy Bauer, $90k of member dues was spent on the 3rd party investigation into their response to Ramirez. Almost nothing has been publicly released about this report, just that it concludes US Chess were "timely and appropriate" in their response.

Lichess spoke to multiple people connected to the case who disagree with that assessment, including two of the women who reported Ramirez.
