Today at AccessU I weighed in on a group discussion and one of folks said they were surprised I wasn’t more cynical about the topic. Someone else in a separate chat commented how measured I was in my responses from what they expected. Another wondered why I wasn’t swearing.
I get the sense my online persona might be a lot gruffer than I am IRL. Might need to tweak one of those.
After exhausting all the usual options (stretches, insoles, massage gun), I started wearing barefoot shoes. A few months ago I got an outdoorsy pair that have flexibility and a roomy toebox, but thicker grippier soles and more insulation.
The single point of pain just forward of the heel that's a classic PF symptom is largely gone.
I have achier feet at the end of the day as they're doing more work. But I think it's a win!
I reckon next next week I’m gonna make The Cascade into a separate (but simple) website and polish things up. Sounds like folks are enjoying it quite a bit!
I'm often a big smug about not owning a car, but the buses are totally messed up this week (and possibly for several weeks to come) so I'm now not feeling smug at all, just grumpy.
@braindouche No idea what cool kids are doing, but I’m happy with Netlify for static sites, Servd (servd.host) for Craft sites, and Laravel Vapor for, well, Laravel sites.
