I made the mistake of glancing at some reviews for validation of how much I was not enjoying Avatar 2… and one of them mentioned how annoyingly much all the kids say “bro” and “cuz”… and now I can’t stop noticing it.

When I was a kid watching DS9, I thought the alien races were thought experiments, the technology was way out of reach, and the humans were us.

Now I see the aliens are us, the technology was only a little out of reach, and the humans are the thought experiment.
