#Passkeys truly are the new lock in for password managers. I'm trying to be a good citizen and use passkeys wherever I can, but now I can't properly try other password managers without needing to create dozens of new keys. I'm trying Proton Pass now, and it's a major pain.

Extrapolate this out to a world where passkeys are the norm and effectively all of my accounts authenticate this way, and moving your data becomes impossible. :dumpster:

Recognizing that different people see and hear the world differently to you is a super valuable thing to understand.

For me, my eyes are super sensitive to resolution and refresh rate, but they aren’t super tuned for color accuracy.

I only mean this slightly in jest, but sometimes I swear millions of Star Wars fans think the ultimate measure of fandom is how long it’s been since they enjoyed anything Star Wars.

Anyway, I enjoyed the first 2 episodes of The Acolyte. Not amazing, but fun and new characters I’m interested in.

This might be a very dumb question, but is there no way to make games play in full screen on an external monitor on iPadOS? Everything plays in a window and I can’t find any way to actually go full screen.

Yup, this is the issue. It's a high-trust sort of app, and it doesn't take too much to lose that trust. I just uninstalled the app myself.

Fortunately, I made a video about Hidden Bar a few months ago so I just opened that again and am back in business. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hidden-bar/id1452453066

Genuinely, how is the Reddit app’s iPad UI so bad? The main feed is mostly images and videos that don’t even fit on the screen, and the comments are maybe the most confusing UI I’ve ever seen.

Bartender was sold to someone new and neither party proactively told their users.

I have Bartender installed on 2 Macs and had no idea. I double checked my email and didn’t have anything from them either 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sometimes people tell me that Apple would never let users touch their Macs because the experience could maybe be less than perfect.

Then I open an iPad app on my Mac and see this screen which is so user-friendly and easy to understand.

Then I try to scroll and realize I can't use a scroll wheel, I need to click and drag as if my mouse was a finger 🙃

And you know what? I love that I can use Overcast on my Mac anyway, even if it's less than perfect.
