As it turns out, you can write a newsletter as a freelancer in Germany and also sell your work (because you are basically an author) to subscribers. But as soon as you include ads in your newsletter, that’s now a “proper” business and you are running the risk of losing your freelance status — which is why you should rather register a separate business instead… 🥴

Has anyone of you worked with Relume yet? It looks well-designed but I’m always skeptical if something sounds too good to be true (“Effortlessly generate sitemaps and wireframes for marketing websites in minutes.” “Watch AI turn your wires into polished designs with a ready to use design system ready for dev.”).

Because it is usually not true.
