users and developers, I'm looking for opinions, success stories, failure stories of using DVC https://dvc.org/ or Datalad https://www.datalad.org/ with -based projects. I tried both solutions myself in small projects and have mixed feelings. I'm curious about stories/blogposts/experiences etc. of others. gügling was not too successful. @rstats

Is there any application which gives me the possibility to gather and process data in realtime in a classroom? Like coin thows and dice rolls etc.
I tried Microsoft Forms, but since I only have a few students they have to throw a few times. I cannot find a solution to combine the data. Let them fill out the same form multiple times seems awkward and time consuming. Is an option @rstats

@RaphaelKohl @rstats The easiest seems Google form and fetching the data from the corresponding Google sheet.

@klmr @smach @rstats With 'box' you can also load objects into function environments. Indeed the syntax seems better, but that's op-ed. I find box unbeatable as way to store project-related code (less overhead than a package, but better than simple scripts) and for personal collection of functions (better than in a package because change too often and the package would have 10k dependencies...). Still, wtg and ♥️ that ppl are exploring the concept more.

@eliocamp @rstats I think you don't quote in majority of places. A non-technical approximate answer might be: Quoting is required mostly in places where you need to submit more than one column name and when they do not exist (yet). Also, you don't quote where, in principle, instead of a column name you can write an expression producing it (I'm thinking aes() mapping for instance. Interesting question btw
