Let me try to put this in a different perspective. First: Gaza has an average age of about 19 years old, and a bit more than half of the population is under 18. Second: there was a Reuters report and video yesterday about how the cemeteries are full so people are burying their loved ones in donated vacant lots with cinder blocks and bits of rubble as gravestones.
To emphasize and clarify the point: half the population is children and they’ve run out of space for more graves.
When you’re talking about getting food, fuel, and water to more than 2 million people, air drops are not going to be remotely sufficient. Convoys of full size trucks might not be enough. 2 to 3 liters of water per person per day adds up really fast.
Edit: Just for fun, I looked up the capacity of tanker trucks to see how many they would need to get enough drinking water to the civilians in Gaza at a rate of 3 liters per person per day, assuming a population of 2.3 million and a tanker capacity of 60k liters. (Keep in mind, this does not account for water needed for hygiene or food preparation, etc.) It turns out that they would need to bring in 115 tanker trucks a day to keep the civilian population supplied with adequate drinking water. Or, y’know, Israel could turn the water back on.
There aren’t any Hamas fighters in those hospitals unless they’re among the wounded. MSF put up a report yesterday about hospitals being hit by missiles and there’s been a bunch of reports of entire high-rise residences getting bombed today. Hamas is not as ubiquitous as your ilk seem to think and the overwhelming majority of the people in Gaza are civilians with no food, no water, no fuel, no medical supplies, and nowhere to go to escape Israel’s genocidal artillery.
The music and food you mention specifically are the products of Black culture. They only come from the South because that’s where the African people were taken to and enslaved, then left destitute with no means to leave after their liberation. Some artists and luminaries from the South have been white, but many of the best ones have been Black and the most moving and powerful pieces of their work are rooted in the oppression they grew up with.
If you don’t want people to be angry at you: don’t make sanctimonious proclamations that insist that your viewpoint on an extremely personal and complex matter is the only correct view for some reason. I’m one of those people that will never have children and your condescending remarks on my life choices are quite unwelcome and lead me to have a rather uncharitable opinion of you.
Choosing not to have children is not “a bad mistake”. It’s not a “mistake” at all. It’s a personal choice that you have no reason to weigh in on and you would do well to keep your opinion to yourself. The issue here is not that you are weighing in on a mistake, it’s that you’re assuming that someone’s personal choices and autonomy are a mistake.
For my husband and I, this is exactly it. Our careers are not really conducive to having kids, but they are still critically important jobs that have to be done by someone. We’re looking forward to being the fun Auntie and Uncle to my sister-in-law’s kids, and that’s plenty for us.

I recommend checking it out, and when you call for an appointment, say that you want a consultation for a hysterectomy and don’t say anything else. It is my understanding that, at the time that version of the oath was written, that was less a prohibition of abortion and more a matter of pregnancy and abortion being under the purview of midwives, not physicians.

A different question I have is whether or not the cars have transponders or other communication devices to automatically call emergency services in case of accidents. That’s one of the big downsides of these driverless cars: if a human accidentally ran over the victim, they have the capability to get out of the car to assess the situation, call 911, and offer aid to the victim. An empty car can only ever just sit there with its hazard lights on and maybe call for emergency services.

The post-pandemic numbers are bound to be very different. As a woman who used to work in tech, I would like to point out that you are missing some very key details here. The expectations placed on women in tech are much stricter, much more demeaning, and much more harsh than those placed on men. I had an employer while I was a contractor decide not to renew my contract because I “didn’t smile enough” and “wasn’t friendly enough”, and this was not an expectation placed on my male coworkers. The contracting agency I was working through tried to argue in my defense, but the employer was allowed to discontinue my contract at any time for any reason. Unfortunately, the contracting agency didn’t have any other positions open for me, so I was just out of a job.
In just about every tech job I’ve had, it was made explicitly clear to me that behaving and interacting with others in the same manner as my male coworkers was not acceptable. I was hired with the implicit understanding that, in addition to providing my labor and expertise, I was required to present myself as feminine, demure, and almost submissive to any men I worked with, even if I was their supervisor.
