Saw a YouTuber try to sell an argument that the US govt is claiming video games cause violence again because of memes and stuff.

It's a p gross misrepresentation of what the report actually concludes, which is that extremists use games and social media to communicate.

This isn't the Pat Roberts "killing people in games is the same as real life murder" thing and it's disingenuous to equate them because it's an intentional straw man.

The report says that extremists gather and communicate online through video games and social media. That's not the same thing as "video games cause violence."

Apparently a US gov't agency released a new report this year to the FBI and DHS which is why it's come up again. I suppose recent chatter caused them to look into it again, or maybe they do this regularly anyway.

Been in this weird funk for a while where I feel listless when it comes to drawing. It's not that I don't have projects to do. But I feel kind of lost about all of it and I don't know what to do with this. It's been going on for a while and it's very frustrating.

It feels like I've lost my muse, I guess. I've been trying to figure it out or find a new muse and I'm just not sure why it's not working out for me, even when I take a break.

Cannot stress how, since I've started regular yoga as my main source of strength training, I have become much more aware of my posture and core.

Now if only I could keep up with the breathing parts x_x trying to breathe properly while engaging my core for so long is tough ugggh
