2023 vs 2024

Today is HWIMH’s birthday.
Last year, we celebrated in the hospital, waiting on the arrival of our youngest and watching the final episodes of Picard.

This year, he gets carrot cake and sloppy baby kisses.

What a year.
What a family.

@wallacewords It’s so horrible. I don’t know how families can manage this if they don’t have flexible work arrangements.
It’s barely feasible with my super flexible work and husband’s hybrid schedule. And it goes right out the window if one of us gets sick.
