It seems like that instance is blocked in the U.S. I tried several different U.S. locations in my VPN. It didn't resolve. I switched the location to Spain and it worked.

It still doesn't resolve for me. All I can think of is multiple DNSes have de-listed it. There might be something else going on, but that hit my limit of knowledge. The browser reports that the site can't be reached.

Thanks for looking. That one doesn't work either. That's the problem I've always had with PeerTube. Some videos never play. Some that do play keep stalling. I don't know why.

I always assumed that it's because they are little servers with one point of presence somewhere in the world. They aren't on a CDN like the big streaming platforms.

    Here's a marginal photo of me taken on an early digital camera back in 2004 in Jamaica.

    I was staying at the only clothing-optional hotel on Seven Mile Beach. The hotel's beachfront was maybe 20 meters wide. All of the surrounding properties were clothing required. It felt a bit odd to be one of the few nudes on the beach.

    I thought it would be fun to show the actual situation on the beach.

    This was a small hotel. Typically only one or two of the guests would be in the water at a time, with another couple laying on the sand. When others were in the water, they were mostly submerged. I like to float, so I was much more visible.

    You can see the clothed people in the background. The second photo is a zoomed-in crop of the first.

    I've struggled with content warning myself. I recently tried not content warning paintings. I truly believe that there is nothing obscene about nude art.

    That experiment was very short. I got no complaints. I was mostly swayed by the argument that if people are scrolling their feed at work (LOTS of people look at social media at work), it might cause an awkward situation.

    The first few times I posted nude content here I did not use a CW or hide the image. I loved (and still agree with) the idea of non-stigmatized simple nudity and artistic nudity.

    I finally started adding the CW and hiding the image because it is often not the person viewing the image that is offended but it is the environment that person is in (i.e. work) where the nudity is a problem.

    It's a balance that I'm not happy with, but it's my current SOP.

    I'm going to experiment with not putting a CW on artistic nude drawings and paintings. Hiding artistic nudity like it's profane is the real obscenity.

    I will continue to CW photos for now. I know that's kind of arbitrary. Photography often is more detailed and closer to "reality". Drawings and paintings are often less realistic and more interpretive. Also, there are boneheads out there who can't distinguish artistic photography from smut.

    I'm sure they don't. So every few months when they come across another naturist event, they'll think they are oh-so-clever by rolling out their 6th-grade jokes once again.
