I’m still amazed that, in a 30+ degrees day, I can cool most of my house at absolutely no cost & zero emissions. Solar panels are wonderful.

Our Skoda Kodiaq has now somehow managed to eject coolant through a sensor wire in the coolant container out into the car's body control module.

I couldn't even make a story up that sounds more ridiculous than the problems we've had with this car. Thankfully, it sounds like the work to fix this problem will be covered under warranty, because how the hell does that even happen?! but it's still off the road for a few days once again.

Got a new router sent to me by my ISP :telenor: and now I don’t know what to do: replace my existing one or not.

My existing one is a shop-bought ASUS router which was good about 10 years ago. It works. 🤷

The new one is branded and probably limited by the firmware of what you can do with it, but the technical specs are better. 🫤

What would you do?

    Gutted to say that George Michael, who adopted my wife by learning to scratch at her row house door in Baltimore her first year of grad school, has passed away at almost 17.

    He had been somewhat sick for a while, but took a hard turn for the worse this week. I’m crushed I couldn’t be there for him and Lilia, but I’m glad he’s at rest.

    He was, and will always remain, a good boy.
