I mounted a piece of furniture for the bathroom. Everything went fine.

It is divided in two vertical section, one for the drawers and one for a removable shelf. The two sections are divided by a vertical panel.

Then I noticed that I screwed the back panels inverted. In fact, I have two left over screws.

But, as programming teaches: does it stand? Yes.
Does the inverted panel still match the bracket? Yes.
Is the inversion noticeable? No.

So, let's deliver in prod.

For @Banur 's , one of the strangest extreme metal bands from Italy I ever listened to, a creature from the multi-instrumentalist Andrea Bruzzone.

This is Bekor Qilish, an hallucinating project of experimental black/death metal.

Another cryptic entity from the I, Voidhanger's roster.

For @derthomas 's , a band that mixes thrash, death, progressive and... punk?

Oh, yes.

They are Nuclear Tomb, and they really seem to have assimilated Voivod's lesson very well. But they egregiously avoid being copycats, putting their personal, quite sepulchral, touch.

This thing looks fun. For my top five would be:

  • Fear Factory - Demanufacture (the song)
  • Sepultura - Ratamahatta
  • Pantera - Use My Third Arm
  • Slipknot - Eyeless
  • Azealia Banks - 212

Runner up places go to

  • Faith No More - Digging The Grave
  • Killer Be Killed - Wings of Feather and Wax
  • Propellerheads - Spybreak!

Hello, people!

I know that, among us, there is people who like to do some physical movement, training or workout. So the question is: do you listen to music while training?

So, for this , let's choose 5 songs that you listen to usually for your training or workouts. Or if you don't train, 5 songs that you would listen to if you would train. :-)

Sweat with

Mine in the next toot.

@knirirr If you need silence for your training, it's perfectly legitimate. Everyone should do their workouts as they prefer. 😉

@sariash but let's imagine that you are doing it: which songs would you choose? 🙂

Oook, for @miona 's , a soaring techno track from Street Fighter IV .

I really love its uplifting mood, a perfect soundtrack for a fight scene on a skyscraper's roof.

@yourfutureex Seen them live once. They are quite... divisive in this sense, between who deems their live performances as boring and pompous and who loves them for their atmosphere and for Akerfeld's comedic behaviour.

I enjoyed their show, with their ups and downs.

@neurothing@metalhead.club avatar

@yourfutureex (to Italian audience there): "The next song is your fault. In Italy there are so many prog rock bands with long songs. And I fuckin' love Italian prog rock bands".

Said during the show I saw.

(No, the song it wasn't "Black Rose Immortal" :D)

@yourfutureex I have an anecdote from Devin too.

Gods Of Metal 2005, Bologna, Italy. Strapping Young Lad were playing, to promote the "Alien" album.

Menacing clouds were approaching to the arena.

He told the audience that if it would rain, there would be no better introduction for the next song ("Shitstorm")

Hello, people!

For this , hosted by @Kitty , I have something that may captivate your interest.

We alread have an Egypt-themed death metal band but... what about a Maya-Inca-Aztec one?

So, we have Tzompantli, a death doom band from California, with their menacing sound.
