Hello, people!

For this and , respectively from @Kitty and @loewe , something from the French metalcore/groove/nu metal band Eths.

Compressed, dark and impactful. All sang in French.

Hello, people!

This has as its theme. A song that opened a concert.

[EDIT] the theme is the first live song you remember. But I did hear live the track I shared, so I'll keep it.

One of the best openers I ever seen was from Moonspell in 2019, live in Milan. It was a great night, with great supporting bands too (e.g. Rotting Christ) and they opened with "Em Nome Do Medo", from their beautiful album "1755".

Today might become the most boring workday ever. I am awaiting a 9 hour TรœV audit where I actually don't really play a role. I have to just sit and listen while they browse through documents. No laptops or phones allowed.
It doesn't get more German than that I guess ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's and I'm laughing.

Why?

Because this cover of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" by Dragonforce is, somehow, hilarious and awesome.

Really, I can't stop laughing thinking about Dion singing this at triple speed.

When they are in good mood, stay away from them even more.

When they are... oh, fuck.

Just stay away from them.

Hello, people!

Blades might be overused, but are still effective as a way to convey strong images into songs.

They can be used to describe a battle or as a metaphor for something that left emotional cuts. Or for many other things.

So, here is the theme for this : five songs about stuff with sharp edges made of metal.

by @Kitty and, since yesterday, I'm obsessed with the late music by Loch Vostok.

I listened to them the first time in mid-late 2000s but they didn't impress me so much, despite I thought they had potential.

They caught my attention again with their last single and now I'm listening to their 2021 album. Which is outstanding.

So, I can't wait for their new full-lenght!

After their unsteady beginnings, they finally seems to have achieved a form that is comfortable for them.

I contributed to a report for the WHO Behaviour and Cultural Insights Hub, so that's pretty cool. It's about how history (all sorts of times, contexts and considerations) can inform how we think about and address loneliness today, and is a super interesting read: https://bci-hub.org/documents/history-loneliness-what-we-know-so-far
