City winning a title is like a windmill in the Mariana Trench.

What a season. The lads finished strong. They’ve improved so much and still have more to give.

I’m not all that surprised City beat Spurs. I already kinda accepted that eventuality.

I don’t begrudge anyone holding onto the hope that City would slip up. It is football. But we’re also talking about the best manager managing one of the best (if not the best) football teams in Europe (we also still have the Hammers?).

I just want us to finish strong. Then nobody can say how we “lost” the title. We did everything we needed to in the run in. We were just beaten by the bigger guy on roids.

I think it is still fair to look back and critique the team on results such as Villa and how things could have been different. But if we deal in what-ifs, we’ll still be here next Christmas (it might be a good way to pass the time, actually xD). I mean, look at how many seasons a blistering Liverpool side couldn’t even break through… 1 PL trophy in 8/9 years is crazy. It kinda almost looks bad without context.

We’re still a young team with a lot more to learn and a lot more to give. I’m looking forward to seeing how the club manages the summer transfer window and how we progress from the standard they’ve now set.

Taking a break from the top of the table, who would you prefer to stay up and who would you prefer to go down?

I wouldnt have minded maybe Burnley staying up. I have a soft spot for Luton and really want them to push through, but I don’t think they will.

Would have liked to have seen Everton to go down, but there’s more chance of the pope mooning a crying baby than that happening at this stage.

Solid win. Not perfect, but bounced back and we saw some of the qualities they’ve displayed since January.

I didn’t expect us to win against Bayern. You could also argue that the refs did us over in both legs. But, we had plenty of good chances and didn’t take them. We are still struggling to create goals in the final third against tough opposition, which is worrying.

On a positive, our performance didn’t drop off a cliff in the 2nd half.

I never considered we’d win the rest of our games, but I didn’t think we’d have dropped them at Villa and in that fashion.

I don’t know what happened between halves, but the 2nd half was horrible. Credit to Villa who looked up for it

Often… I have sometimes spent hours trying to photoshop faces of my mates (with permission) on random objects or random scenarios, like a cat or kettle, trying to make it look as normal as my skills allow for a 1-off joke.

Agreed! I don’t use it as extensively as I probably could, but it feels clean and simple.

It also feels like you have a voice that people can hear instead of being drowned out. It may not last, but it’s nice.
