My weekend reading in between all the getting stuff done will be a lovely re-read of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
Heaven knows I’ve seen every possible movie adaptation of this, since I’m a huge classic horror fan .
But it’s been decades since I’ve read the book!
I recently got a Barnes & Noble gift certificate for Mother’s Day from my son, so I bought myself some classics that I had wanted to have in my collection 📚🤎. #reading#bookstodon
Old pictures, nic nacs and memories
Time passes
Energy can be neither created nor destroyed
Oh but it can sure as hell change shape
It isn’t what happens
But our reaction that determines our fate
So I choose freedom
A simple life of my choosing
My loftiest goal
What book to read next
get to know yourself
watch the fire in the fireplace
reflect, meditate
Question: what's everyone's thoughts on using punctuation in an Haiku? If I recall correctly, you are not supposed to use any technically, but I find it gives some freedom.
Found myself helping someone else with their #ancestry / #genealogy question the last few days. Two friends who never realized they’re cousins! I had so much fun being Sherlock Holmes for them and finding the proof.
