Elected members of Congress are now officially making pilgrimages to Manhattan to stand outside of the courthouse and say the things Trump's gag order prevents him from saying.

Your tax dollars at work, America. Good to see these Republicans rolling up their sleeves and tackling the tough issues facing real Americans.

We are light years beyond parody at this point, folks.

Whenever I hear a comedian like Jerry Seinfeld complain that "woke" is killing comedy, my immediate next thought is, "what, exactly, do you want to say that you can't? Are you sad you can't mock the marginalized? Worried you'll be judged if you insult LGBTQ people? Is rudeness a required element in humor? You're a straight white male; there's about a million year's worth of jokes just poking fun at yourself."

The dishonesty within MAGA world is never surprising anymore, but sometimes the level of hubris when it comes to how easily the lie could be debunked still can make me blink.

If you've never been to New Jersey, I Guess you might be fooled by this. But if you've ever been to the part of Brazil where this picture was actually taken (at a Rod Stewart concert), then you'll quickly realize Roger Stone is full of shit.

It is wild to think there are so many Americans who would vote for a convicted rapist and conman over Joe Biden, solely because Biden is "a career politician." When you hate lifetime civil servants more than you hate rape, theft and insurrection, there's not much else that can be said.

Dear @nytimes, here is how we would like you to cover the presidential candidates: consistently.

You don't need to be Biden's propaganda arm. Just stop letting Trump get off easy when he says something you'd rightfully crucify Biden over. Fair enough?

Set a standard. Declare the standard. Hold to the standard. That is all we're asking of you and every other news source that claims to be fair and balanced. That doesn't seem like too much to ask.

Regards,
American voters

Just a reminder that Trump's legal troubles began LONG before he ever entered politics. Anyone who tells you Trump is only NOW being targeted with "lawfare" because he's a threat to the "Deep State" is ignoring the fact Trump was a plaintiff or a defendant in literally THOUSANDS of legal cases prior to descending that golden escalator approximately 73 years ago.

So, Republicans initially demanded enhanced border security as part of any additional support for Ukraine. Biden obliged, but then Trump spiked the deal, not wanting to give his rival a win.

By the end of today, we will likely have exactly what Biden wanted right from the start (albeit in a weird and roundabout way).

But please, tell me again how ineffective this 81-year-old president is. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Trump is pretending, based on a single all-caps tweet from July of 2018, that Iran would have never DARED to launch an attack while he was president. Perhaps he'd like us to forget that, in January of 2020, Iran did, in fact, launch attacks on two US bases in Jordan. And his response? See below.

Dear media, it didn't take me long to look this up, and I'm on my day off. Maybe you could also do a little digging?

I have had people tell me they don't believe Project 2025 is a real concern because, "why would Republicans want to open a Pandora's Box that might grant the next Democratic president so much unfettered power?"
The answer is why you actually should be concerned: they are planning for there to never be another Democratic president should they win in November.
