@shroomie or just ask two instances "hey why do you not federate with each other". after the old drama you just dug up, and put yourself in the center of as both instances give their perspectives and you just go "why did I ask why please stop every second this goes on I think lesser and lesser of both of you shut"
@luna sometimes it is genuinely helpful, because i will catch myself before I ask an insensitive question to someone such as "why can't you get a new one?". it has helped a lot, because I know there's a variety of factors that make it hard for people to have the latest and greatest thing or even be able to afford a $30 item. I just try to work carefully with what they give me.
one of my favorite excuses to why something has disappeared is "lost in a boating accident". I don't know if this is correlated to why one of my favorite excuses to where I am going is "gone fishing"
