Slow boot time, 38-second difference between network.target and systemd-user-sessions.service (lemmy.world)

It takes my PC (which should be fast enough; Ryzen 9, NVME) running OpenSUSE TW 42 seconds to boot, more than 30 seconds longer than before. Does anyone know what could cause the 38-second discrepancy between network.target and systemd-user-sessions.service? Is there a way to gather more information about what steps happen in...

I suggest slowly switching to cross platform apps so you don’t find out an app you’re using daily won’t work after moving to Linux.

I just checked their Twitter account and it was removed from their bio/name, I assumed it was antisemitism but you’re right. It probably isn’t.

At least I don’t have to worry my feed is going to be filled with their tankie stuff, since I ditched my account.

There’s a convenient web interface for managing Linux servers called cockpit. I use it myself. You can manage raid devices and add other packages to see historical system stats.
