Question, how do you pluralise "faux pas"? It already has an "s" on the "pas" (but "faux pases" is clearly wrong, as it "faux pas's") and if it's meant to be the "faux" that's the plural bit, I'm not sure how that works with the "x"?

@dheadshot @grammargirl Such is the struggle of us English speakers trying to make other languages fit into our language rules.

I’d be tempted to just say “faux pases” (close to “pauses”), suppress the physical cringe of having done so, and carry on.

I suspect that for me doing so often enough would put it into the same category as, or at least overlap in the Venn diagram with, “passersby”.

I just encountered a new band called Bird’s View. Nice mix of Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age and Audioslave and other stuff thrown in.

So new that they don’t even have a website of their own yet. Like Boskat (which I mentioned recently), only a presence on Facebook, which will hopefully change soon.

And I have a new goal: Be able to play the drumming from Jarloseppa.

Globe & Mail reports that Conservative leader Pierre is muzzling his MPs.

They have been instructed NOT to comment on Premier Danielle Smith's transgender policy. Conservatives claim Mr. Poilievre himself is “very disciplined” and is “not going to wade into these issues.”

Don't be fooled - Pierre Poilievre fully supports the Premier. He's just not going to tell you that before the election.

We’re having more than enough deep budget cuts and controversial decisions and outright scandals with Ford here in Ontario. I promise you, Canada DOES NOT want those same issues and heaps more country-wide.

The conservative government has drafted changes to the province's environmental laws that would make it easier for the Ford govt to block lawsuits from landowners to allow the govt to fast-track highway projects.
The new laws are aimed at preventing court challenges from stopping construction of Highway 413 & the Bradford Bypass.

's newest legislation is titled the "Getting It Done Act"

Giving Vivaldi a shot on mobile. It's got everything on my wishlist except for extensions, but I'm using fewer and fewer of them so I'm not sure it's a deal breaker for me anymore.

@nyquildotorg Curious to see how your experience goes on. I’ve been reading more about Vivaldi lately and, as an ages-long Firefox user always looking for what could be better, may give it a shot.
