regbin_,

I have a PC with 5800X, 3080 Ti, and 64 GB DDR4-3600. I play at 1440p with 80% render scale, Medium-High settings (mostly Medium) and it’s barely above 60 FPS outdoors. It runs like shit.

Luckily it can go 140+ FPS indoors.

regbin_,

Exactly my point. I want 90 FPS at least and lowering the settings didn’t help at all.

regbin_,

Nah 60 is not good enough for me. I’m fine if it’s a mobile game or handheld. I have no problems getting 90 FPS minimum in A Plague Tale: Requiem and Cyberpunk 2077.

In Starfield, not even 720p with lowest settings will help because the game is very heavily dependent on CPU. Looking at HW Unboxed benchmarks, the 5800X only managed to do 57 FPS average. You need a 7800X3D or a 13600K to get 90 FPS average.

regbin_,

They’re fine if you’re just listening to music or watching videos but they’re totally unusable for gaming. The latency is just too high.

A jack is an absolute must have for me and if a phone doesn’t have one I’ll use a USB-C dongle.

regbin_,

This is actually ultra rare Tim Sweeney W.

No need to act like it’s breaking copyright laws when in it’s current state it’s not even defined.

regbin_,

Why would he blame Intel for releasing Alder Lake?

regbin_,

It’s on Game Pass if you’re on PC/Xbox and your country is covered. Feels good to be able to play a triple A game for “free” tbh

regbin_,

And worry about other shit that you have to deal with

regbin_,

I use Linux on my workstation every day and I’m very familiar with it. I still very much prefer Windows for my main PC.

regbin_,

I don’t have a problem with Epic offering this. The problem is with publishers that take this offer. Bunch of greedy bastards.

regbin_,

If you like competitive multiplayer FPS, give Overwatch 2 a try. It’s one of my fav multiplayer games I play daily.

If you don’t, better skip it. There’s nothing much else besides the gameplay.

regbin_,

It absolutely is not. Just how it’s also not ok to buy the overpriced RTX 40 cards because it ruins the market for all of us.

regbin_,

It ruins the internet. Google controls Chromium, if most browsers are Chromium-based, that means those browsers will eventually get whatever Google implements which means other browsers are forced to implement them or you can get broken websites.

regbin_,

YT Premium costs less than $4 for me and I also get YT Music. It sure beats paying $4 for only a music service.

regbin_,

I meant that if you use YouTube a lot, it would be fair to pay for an ad-free experience.

regbin_,

That’s way too expensive and I can’t afford it. YTP is less than $4 a month so at least the creators gets at least a few cents from my views, and I watch a lot of creators.

regbin_,

Because somehow paying $4 a month is unreasonable for a service that I use for 2-4 hours every day.

Right.

regbin_,

I use SponsorBlock.

regbin_,

I’m a premium user so I’m not affected (for now)

regbin_,

Malaysia. It’s RM 17.90 which roughly converts to $3.94.

regbin_,

I’ll stop paying when it stops working. Also regional pricing. I pay around $3.9 for Premium + Music.

regbin_,

Game Pass is super cheap in my country (RM 15/month ≈ 3.2 USD) and it allows me to play Starfield and Persona 5 Royal without having to pay the full price.

The combined price of both games is RM 491 which is equivalent to 2.7 years of Game Pass. I haven’t even counted other games I play like Atomic Heart and Forza Horizon 5 so it’s a great deal.

regbin_,

I’ll just unsubscribe when it’s not worth it anymore. No biggie. Cracked games exist.
