I am not 100% sure, but I think that is automatic when you sub to a remote community.

Well, back when i was a wee lad, we had a rule. Dice had to be rolled on the table, if it fell off you had to re-roll (unless you rolled a 20, then it was a real argument).

Its "expensive" because you want to raise millions from investors so you can cash out and fuck over your employees and customers. The excuses they come up with are becoming more pathetic.

Enjoy your NVIDIA card in Linux, should bring you many surprises. Being much older now, i dont like surprises so I went with the AMD only solution. No more surprises!

  1. I am currently playing it on PS5 and it plays great (like D3).
  2. Slightly more options, larger skill tree and of course a Store. You will have no problem as a D3 vet.
  3. TBD ... (sorry, I am very bored with it).

Never thought of this scenario. Do they address it?

Used to be Destiny, lately it's been "No Man's Sky". I just get lost there.

Is there any interest in a community for announcing updates to games?

A lot of game specific subreddits post update announcements, which were how I heard about stuff like that before I switched to Lemmy. On here, there's not enough people yet for communities like that, so I'm looking to see how many people would be interested in a community that collects and shares news about game updates

It would be nice to get those announcements. I still hang on to twitter to get updates on downtimes.

Hearts of Iron IV: Arms Against Tyranny | Official Announcement Trailer (pdxint.at)

Four Northern democracies are seemingly helpless against nearby predatory dictatorships. Despite their size, Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden have a chance to avoid conquest through clever diplomacy or fierce resistance. Write a new history of the Nordic countries in Arms Against Tyranny, a new expansion for Hearts of Iron...

Lemmy is booming

I have never before received so many reactions and comments on my Lemmy posts before, so it's obvious to see, that there are many new members here.
Welcome to all the new! And I'm looking forward to see more of you here.
Cheers!

This has happened in R's past: see Voat (I wont link it here). I hope we can keep this an open and engaging community without all that hatred.

You could try StarSector from Fractal Softworks. Its not free but an awesome game for what you may be looking for.

Starsector (formerly “Starfarer”) is an in-development open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration, and economic game. You take the role of a space captain seeking fortune and glory however you choose.

Im in the same spot, but every time I take a look at other folks code I cant read it, they use some syntactic sugar I cant wrap my head around (yet).

What are the best ship-to-ship combat rules in a sci-fi game?

I've played my share of sci-fi RPGs, such as Traveller and Starfinder, but as many things as they do well, the space combat rules have never really captured the feel of a Star Wars-style starfighter dogfight or even a Star Trek-style naval battle. What is your favorite sci-fi RPG for shipt-to-ship combat?
