Robert Henke at Terraforma Exo, June 15th, Triennale Milano

On stage there are five carefully restored Commodore CBM 8032 computers, running custom software developed by the artist and his team. Three computers create sound, one machine is responsible for the graphics and one is controlling the others, with their displays turned towards the audience.

A large projection at the back of the stage is mirroring the output from the video computer.

The act of performing is operating these computers: calling routines, and changing parameters. It involves a lot of key pressing, together with sound adjustments on a mixing desk and a rack with early 1980's digital audio effects processors.```

Groove Salad via @somafm on my Roku has stopped playing several times the last few days. When I turn the TV back on (because who needs it on when streaming only audio?) the Roku screensaver is on, like the box thinks it's been idle. This has been a problem only for the last few days.

Is this something that can be fixed through the stream? I've noticed this a couple of times earlier with one of the Roku live channels so it seems like something the box controls. I haven't changed (or even gone into) the Settings recently except to hide promotions from the Home screen.

Roku no longer allows apps to have custom screensavers,
like the one SomaFM has. Roku version 13 breaks the
screensaver in our app, causing it to crash when the screensaver starts. The workaround is to turn off the screensaver mode in the Roku global settings. We will upload a new version to the Roku Channel Store soon.

@haljor they told us they would no longer support custom screensavers, they didn’t tell us if our app had a custom screensaver it would crash in Roku 13

    All our channels are DJ-curated so we're picky about what we play. We aren't paying attention to if someone is a 'fedi artist" etc, we are solely choosing music based on what our DJs find the most interesting.

    Use Apple Music.app on your Mac?

    Here's an easy way to add all the SomaFM channels at once:

    Go into Music.app, and Cmd-U (File -> Open Stream URL) and paste in:

    http://somafm.com/all.m3u

    This will add all the SomaFM channels to a playlist called "SomaFM". (It also seems to put them in another playlist called "Internet Songs" but you can delete them from there with no problem.)

    @alienghic we send the channel logos. Some third party apps try and guess the artwork.
