  • Setting Up Continuous Integration
  • Checking Data with naniar, visdat, assertr, and skimr!
  • Working with Taxonomic Lists

Yes, an issue template works well but if a YAML key is incorrect (like when I choose an incorrect Olsen timezone), that's when I run into problems.

An R function would work well for creating issues and catching problems early on! And you'd still have the ability to create/edit them online if you needed to. That would be really useful, especially for specific post types (in my case, coworking session reminders).

Great idea! I'm totally going to do this!

In theory yes, I think. Instead of checking for issues, the R script would somehow check if the blog had been updated.

How it does that would probably depends on how you have your blog set up.

If you're pushing the changes to your blog manually, it might be easier to skip the Actions entirely and just use rtoot locally?

We coworked and discussed various things to consider when thinking of Spring Cleaning for an R package. ☂️ 🌱 (or fall cleaning 🍂 for those in the South!)
