Literally thousands of these spiders in the leaves! Not sure what they are. They are invisible until you approach but scurry out in vast numbers as your shoes disturb the leaves and move fast in seemingly random directions. Again, hard to picture as they move so fast!

Well we didn’t get the eclipse here but tonight is the most incredible #earthshine I’ve ever seen, seen here together with the planet #Jupiter over the magical turrets of #Luxembourg. There is a Rush lyric for most occasions and tonight’s is of course «Earthshine»

On certain nights
When the angles are right
And the moon is a slender crescent

The forest is amazing. Even on a dull day, with no mist, no sunshine, no dazzling rays of light, no crystals of ice, no blue sky, you can point your camera in almost any direction and find magic. If you are near woodland, do what you can to look after it!

Back in the woods and a night of rain has all but got rid of the snow. So stuff like plastic comes to the surface. I know it’s not your fault it’s there but if you find it, do take it and dispose of it! It will make spring so much better when it comes!
