Thought for the day: Frank Zappa was a genius and understood exactly the role that rock music played in enabling young people to transgress the socio-sexual mores of society at that time. There are many Zappa videos on YouTube. Please take a look. From his very first appearance on American TV he disrupted convention thinking. People laughed because he was an odd ball, comic relief, but what he did was open minds to what is musically possible. Let me know if you agree!

@plasmawiz doesn't it kill the muscle that holds the middle finger and the ring finger up? The muscle that goes all the way to the elbow? That muscle is fine with a thumb ball for me.

@plasmawiz it's exactly that hovering that concerns me. Probably no way to tell other than trying it myself. I remember having tremendous wrist pain from the Logitech MX Master mouse, exactly the opposite experience from seemingly everyone else. I don't usually have any pain using a combo of Wacom tablet, a Logitech MX Ergo trackball and Microsoft Sculpt mouse.

peeps, how would you somehow mark or make a list of clips on the timeline that have some sort of transform (scale), stabilization and/or a specific effect applied?

I have to do a conform in Resolve from graded clips and would like to save some time, not having to check each clip for these adjustments.

@mredig so I don't have to manually inspect every edit (there's hundreds and hundreds in an average episode). There aren't that many of these applied, so I don't need to automate somehow transferring the transforms and adjustments from FCPX to Resolve, I know I can import a XML from FCPX into it, but that's not what I need in this step.

@latenite hmhm, that doesn't really help me quickly glance the info over the entire sequence. It will be probably just a dozen of shots but I need something to help me find this dozen quickly so I don't have to go clip for clip. Any idea?

@latenite so close! but it fails to generate the actual spreadsheet (also doesn't accept fcpxmld, only fcpxml - tried to convert to older fcpxml using editingtools.io to no avail) 😭 probably needs updating, let's see if it's not abandoned
