Fusion in

I use the Camera tracker, solve the track, want to set the ground plane. No matter what or how many track points I select, clicking Set ground plane fails with "0 locators selected". I AM selecting ones from the supposed ground plane. Resolve 18.6.

Is it a me error or yet another buggy Resolve feature? If it's a me error, this software is totally incompatible with me.

Zigbee is great -really- but it has an appeal problem as it's not the 'open platform' it pretends to be. It's woefully hard for a non-techie to set up a real smart home with various brand devices.

Even for me it's been a rocky ride until I realized I needed always-connected, same brand devices (bulbs) to stabilize my battery-powered-remote-heavy mesh. I can't imagine how a layperson manouver around different manufacturers stuff.

I find "shot on iPhone" a bit disingenuous - people have absolutely no idea what goes into shooting something like that. They expect to get similar results, and are right to do so.

I've been making my Quickemu project macOS-compatible; meaning it can run on a macOS host 🍎

Quickemu is a project to quickly create and run optimised Linux, macOS and Windows virtual machines 👍

@starrwulfe @wimpy @frameworkcomputer AFAIK MacOS VMs cannot access Apple ID at all. Maybe some sort of collab with the OpenCore guys (Hackintosh has no issues with that) could work

I installed the newest TestFlight now. Maybe this will help ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I mean, I can understand the devs a bit. This issue randomly occurs and is probably hard to debug. But 2 years is way too long for a bug like this to exist.

@noim I use HA since 2018 and use the iOS/iPad apps every day but what's the reason to use the app on a computer instead of the web app? You can't really control the computer with it anyway.

I contemplated buying the 13" iPad but typing is the reason I won't. The default keyboard is abysmal for Czech and doesn't auto-switch with English and SwiftKey which I use and love for a decade is not great even on the 11" in landscape.

Don't @ me with physical keyboards, I don't understand that at all - what you get is bulky, unstable, awkward laptop with subpar OS.

Out of 367 clips in this timeline (that we have to transfer from Premiere to using SendtoX), 40 files randomly do not relink. Checksums match, no weirdness in file paths.

And that's where you just stop. Nothing you can do 🤷

@zachnfine I sort of did. It links fine on one machine, doesn't link at all on a different machine, from the same drive😳I can make do with the one machine (at work) but it's very capricious and unreliable for whatever God damn reason. Better than 40 random offline clips though.
