Things most camera operators are 100% incapable of doing:

  • not tweaking framing during takes
  • shooting shots with displays to be tracked wider so the entire fucking screen is visible (footage is all 2.5k with 1080p deliverables)

@tweak oh believe me, they have plenty of feedback, including very specific WRITTEN NOTES from me and the producer, which they got before the shoot started. And this is not some low budget amateur hour job.

I use the new Arc Search as the default browser on iOS now and it's amazing with a few exceptions. You can't force an insecure connection, and sites with basic HTTP auth (like a lot of self-hosted stuff) won't let you... Auth. I have to use Safari for that (pictured).

Will forward this to devs.

@fredbrooker that's not the issue. This is behind Nginx Proxy Server, there is a LE cert. This app (Clapshot) only uses this type of auth, and the dialogue is not showing in Arc.

just had a webpage try to display a video ad, but for some baffling reason they DRM'd the ad so my browser asked if I wanted to allow playback of DRM'd content and I just said no. amazing design, no notes.

@homeassistant before everyone asks: NO, Echo devices cannot be used as players with it. Playing audio from arbitrary URLs is not possible with Echo. AND YES, Sonos/Symfonisk can.
