I’d be one of them but damned if I can get it working on the steam deck. There’s a process around with over 70 steps to follow, but so far I haven’t had the time or inclination to do so. It’s the only real failure the deck has had for me.

Trying an uninstall then reinstall. Wish me luck!

Yeah thanks, that’s really helpful. Like I didn’t do that in the first place.

”dismantled the education system” and ”oversees.” Point proven I guess.

Would have stayed there a few more weeks if they had made it available down under.

Doesn’t show in the Play store for me.

Turns out it doesn’t show because it’s made for an older version of Android and gets auto filtered out. Thanks anyway

I just cannot get this video to play. Any chance of an alternative link and/or the backstory?

Thanks, that did the trick.

Unless you live in Australia. So sick of Valve’s lack of desire to sell directly down under. And yes you can order them via local resellers, but what are the chances they’ll have a 20% off sale?

To say they have one. Actually I think I may have used mine to pry a soft drink tab up as I had no nails.

Book suggestion: LONG Space Opera (or sci-fi or cyberpunk) packed with action and cool characters

I feel like I wrote this post from time to time on Reddit and I think I’ll start this tradition here. I’m. a Honor Harrington fan. I’ve read several other space operas and they always fall short. The three that came close were Lt. Leary, Kris Longknife and Vorkosigan saga. Lt. Leary was nice, but it failed on World...

Stephen Donaldson’s Gap series. Fair warning though, the first (short) book is very confronting.

It’s not clear from the article why the currently secure apps would not just remove themselves from the UK market rather than compromise global security. Or offer two versions. Still a terrible outcome for the UK though.

Is Mint suitable for Surface Book 3? I started digging and it seemed Arch was mostly working but I don’t think I’m ready for that…

Why IBM got a reputation of destroying everything they touch?

After the Red Hat mess I see many people saying IBM destroys everything they touch, but I can’t think of many examples of it. Can you tell me what else IBM has destroyed after acquiring it, or something good that they themselves developed and then ruined it with stupid corporate choices?
