I am strongly considering to launch a public forum, but I think I wouldn't be able to handle both moderation, SVMetaSearch further development and my private life things all at once.

If this forum would open, would you be an active user of it, and if you want to, help me with moderating it? Poll answer adheres to the "registered user" thing only, I know moderation is hard thus it isn't for everyone.

To wrap up things, I am not planning on opening a Discord "public" group, but rather spinning up a full-fledged forum script on our server 😉

I remember the days when getting such volume (314 searches) took us 5-6 days depending on the server load. Now, not only we conjoined average values from first days when we started calculating daily searches* if not we have had such values since 28 December 2022, but we've set up a new record.

Enter Peekr - the new search engine using its own index. Only. For a long period of time we called it SVMetaSearch 2.0.

We expect Peekr to launch between Q3 and Q4 of 2024, unless we'll be ready before (or hopefully not after) that.

Switching from Google to DuckDuckGo is like switching from cola to... a diet cola. The latter doesn't give you any significant health gains.

When we, or some other organisation working for goodwill of everyone tell AI - don't expect such quirks. Having that amount of data should amount to great responsibility.
