sweetcuppincakes,

I hope things start working out better for you! Sorry about the pain and mobility issues! Hopefully, you’ll find treatments that work for you soon.

sweetcuppincakes,

This happened to me with my Volt. Had to have the BECM replaced, just like it says in the article.

sweetcuppincakes,

WTF? They fixed mine for free, and they showed me the “bill” and it supposedly would have cost many thousands of dollars.

sweetcuppincakes,

Sometimes I buy groceries and just think about the fact that I’m going to poop it all out later.

sweetcuppincakes,

I hope the world’s decision-makers listen to this panel. We need to take drastic measures, starting with the common-sense solution of taxing destructive things and using the money for additional solutions to the climate crisis.

sweetcuppincakes,

Made a new friend, got diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, learned to use a sewing machine, got into American Girl dolls and doll photography, had some guests over at my house, got further into climate activism.

sweetcuppincakes,

We call each other and catch up occasionally, text here and there, send Christmas and birthday gifts, meet up when I’m in town. My brother used to be my best friend when we were kiddos.

Turns out Altman is a lab-leak covid truther, calls virus 'synthetic' according to Spectator piece on AI risk. (archive.is)

Sam Altman, the recently fired (and rehired) chief executive of Open AI, was asked earlier this year by his fellow tech billionaire Patrick Collison what he thought of the risks of synthetic biology. ‘I would like to not have another synthetic pathogen cause a global pandemic. I think we can all agree that wasn’t a great...

sweetcuppincakes,

Well maybe they shouldn’t have, you know, in case there’s a lab leak. Not saying there was, just saying that these virology labs scare me

sweetcuppincakes,

Autism

Just to clarify, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being autistic

sweetcuppincakes,

I’m a day late, but I have a lot to be thankful for! My partner, friends, food, home, better mental health, and so much more

sweetcuppincakes,

Post-pandemic, I started to value my privacy a little more, leading me to put up more of a wall of separation between my “public persona” and my real life. Not sure if this applies to others as well.

sweetcuppincakes,

I’d say 4 tampons a day for 7 days (so 28) would be plenty for most people. If you need 100, I’m concerned you would be dead of blood loss.

sweetcuppincakes,

Noooo! I was just on Omegle talking to strangers from around the world last week! I used it occasionally for a decade and had a lot of fun talking to people. This hurts.

sweetcuppincakes,

I hope you find better times ahead and find some new social outlets!

People who back into parking spots: Why?

To me, it seems objectively easier to pull into a parking space forward and then back out of the space when you are ready to leave. You don’t have to line up with the lines while driving backwards, and it’s easier to keep from hitting other cars as well. So why back in? To me, the only advantage I can think of is that you...

sweetcuppincakes,

I park either way, whichever leads to less maneuvering for that particular spot, but it’s easy since I have a backup camera.

sweetcuppincakes,

Since this is vegancirclejerk, I’m gonna say yes and that you and every milk drinker should be in prison, including babies.
