ah the IO module is left over from the initial CLI calculator. Will have to clean that out at some point.

And the inline server module is also left over from when I was writing everything in the same file first before splitting out.

Younger users of Lemmy: Did you ever love a game that you just really sucked at?

So I was watching a few youtubes and remembered how the vast majority (of like the ten) nes games me and my sister had were hard as all hell. I loved to play Little Nemo and Street Fighter 2010 but I am pretty sure I never made it past the third level of either. Let alone infamously hard games like The Lion King....

Escape from tarkov. I am intrigued by the concept of the game, but each time I played I was outmatched in gear and skill.

Neovim here as well. Though I do use LSPs. I write mostly Go in a fairly large code base so “go to definition” is pretty much a must have.

I was considering going without and just using grep like tools, but not yet.

It took me just over 50 hours

It didn’t feel like I rushed it, maybe I missed some bits in act two, but it still took just over 50 hours.

The only times I load a save is if I get wiped, so this first campaign has been interesting to say the least.

The last inn was my first big disaster in a string that has made my first play through quite sad.

Everyone except my party died at that inn, and my party only just survives with less that 5hp between all the characters.

Compared to act one this turned dark really quick.

By default dive rolls are not truly random, check out the “karmic dice” setting under gameplay settings.

classes with build variety

I know it’s early but I’m very disappointed in the build variety of barbarians so far. It’s shout builds only because anything else is too weak to compete. Even found the unique chain pull axe but giving up a shout on the bar is simply not worth it. Anyway with the start of the first season I’d like a class with some...

I have the same issue with my Sorc. All of the viable builds are the same with one or two details changed

At least for me lemmyverse.net solves a lot of the discovery issue. If that kind of a crawling search feature could be better integrated into the platform it would be a lot smoother to find new stuff.

I was concerned of the amount of users not being enough to generate content, but so far I have been proven wrong. And the quality of the content is much better. At least for now.
