Помните, что ваш сервер (и я сейчас не только про MML) - это не дата-центр Твиттера, а лишь маленькая VPSка, за которую платит из своего кармана не Илон Маск, а такой же человек из плоти и крови, как и мы с вами. Мир сейчас нестабилен, и что-то из цепочки "сервер-админ" может выйти из строя. Порой внезапно.

До технической реализации nomadic identity (когда все посты, подписки и пр. у вас фактически под рукрй) ещё далеко, поэтому, чтобы не потеряться в Федивёрсе, вот несколько простых советов:

• Ознакомьтесь с функциями импорта-экспорта, предоставляемыми вашим сервисом.
• Делайте бэкапы время от времени. На данном этапе можно восстановить только подписки (в большинстве случаев)
• Заведите альтернативный аккаунт на другом сервере
  ИЛИ (если есть желание и возможности)
• Поднимите свой собственный сервер и вещайте от него на весь Федивёрс!

В нашем сообществе есть люди, у которых есть опыт в обращении с single-user instances. Если кому интересно, могу позвать их в тред.

My standpoint is that, not only should all social software support ActivityPub, it should be required by law.

Further to that, all social software should have an account migration path towards and away from it.

No, I’m not saying all servers should federate with each other. What I am saying is that it should be impossible for any one server software to monopolize the network effect.
