I turned it on a couple of weeks ago and nothing happened but today I'm watching cherry blossom falling as I type this which is very lovely, reminding me of the garden full of flowering cherry trees I once had. 🥰
@Uraael it really is delightful. As I explained to someone else a few weeks ago, it's the sum of a lot of relatively small features about Sharkey that makes it so much more fun to use in my opinion than Mastodon.
Where I live people don't watch their dogs if you happen to walk on the streets because you exercise.
A few times in a few days I have been yelled at by dog owners because their unwatched dog ran on the street and they could not run after it. I got quite lucky that the dog was not violent.
I prefer to warn people that nowadays people are that way. I don't see exactly why I have to be held accountable for this and it is a stress that could be easily avoided for both parties.
If I had a dog and I lived next to a street I would keep my dog on a leech because you never know what the dog can do. That to me is common sense and if my dog charged a person in front of my house I would say I am sorry.
@compost The Venn diagram circles of people who let their dogs off-leash and people who drive cars recklessly but get big mad at people riding their bikes is the same circle pretty much. 🤦♂️
@clive I started using Vivaldi again on Mac recently and I haven't had any issues with it crashing. Maybe it's an extension you're using with it that's the cause?
@ai6yr we're accumulating quite a list of things people have gotten hysterical over that amounted to nothing, yet ironically dismissing things that were actually a problem, like COVID.
