Can't seem to stop so here's earthquakes (> M4.0) of the world, 1923 to 2023. I like how we can see the plates and active fault lines in a compact way.

Have a couple more before I move on so bear with me. 😅

@terence where do you get this data from? I'd love to see a world version of this. Probably not possible with rayshader, but the general pattern would be interesting to see

Say I have a folder of shapefiles. Is there a faster way to read all of them into R than creating a list and using lapply? Ultimately, I plan to merge them all into one.

@terence How bout ogrmerge.py? I haven't used it myself, but this looks like what you're after

Am trying to st_intersection a gpkg with a bbox (created with st_bbox |> st_as_sfc). If I don't reproject, it works.

If I reproject, I get: IllegalArgumentException: point array must contain 0 or >1 elements

Any ideas why?

@terence maybe S2 related? From what CRS to what CRS are you reprojecting?

Not for but I need to keep myself motivated with other things. Here's a map of Indonesia showing all earthquakes greater than magnitude 5.0 from 1923 to 2023. Inspired and made possible by @milos_agathon.

@terence I'd love to see some of your code for the awesome stuff you do with all the ray*verse. Even just a tiny little example to get started, especially on the glowing points. I love what you do!
