1.2.11 Beta Build

Stability update on the larger 1.2.10 update that rolled out.

• New app bar polish
• New app bar can be disabled by experiment
• Fix compose page missing overflow on mobile, meaning drafts and scheduled posts were unavailable :(
• Removed swipe gesture for shortcuts experiment
• Misc fixes

• Updated simplified chinese translations (thank you!)
• Atkinson Hyperlegible font support
• Proper Material3 spec for bottom bar

Pushing out build 199 for the beta track.

This beta has a lot of polish and fixes, and with the rollout of a new version of flutter I'm making sure things are stable.

Notably

• Fixed auto play gif regression
• Hopefully made long form videos more reliable
• Showing home navigation when opening a trunks url link in mobile
• Added a "View unrolled thread" interaction in long inline posts
• Bit more UI polish.

Definitely something I want to support.

I catch myself jumping between accounts a ton trying to boost or reply from personal vs not.

I'll think of how the UX could look like this and I'll definitely look into how Megalodon does it.

One of my goals here was to help people in smaller servers feel more included in the fediverse by giving them access to trending tags, posts and links in other servers that have more traffic.

It's easy to feel isolated when you join a smaller instance.

I'm wondering if I should prepopulate some of the external sources here or suggest larger ones?

Couple of changes I’ve built in response to some feedback in the beta.

I’ve introduced the local and federated feeds as being pinnable shortcuts and I’ve created a management page that allows you to reorder your pins.

Will update the 1.2.9 beta in a short while.
