My unscientific and uninformed observation is that social media, especially TikTok and Reels seem to mess with peoples’ dopamine reward systems and cause them to become very impulsive and have short attention spans. Either that or literally every single one of my coworkers under 30 also have ADHD.
Basically, it gives you a floating head for every quest at reads the quest to you. I’ve found myself understanding so much more than I ever have and loving it. The banter from the flight masters alone is amazing haha
I wrote a python script that downloads my calendar and displays my next meeting on a small e-ink screen plugged into a raspberry pi zero that I attached to the top of my computer screen. Basically I tend to get so zoned in (or out) that I always forget to check my calendar. I receive so many messages like “Are you joining the call???” 10 minutes after the start time. If anyone’s interested I will share a link to the source code.
With exception of the Mister, all consoles have either been modded or repaired. Bonus, everything is automated through Home Assistant so it will turn on the TV, switch inputs, and turn on the console, all via voiced controlled.

I wish I knew the answer. It seems that the other responses suggest cutting these people out of your life, but in my case it’s my wife and coworkers. Cutting them out isn’t really an option.
