I started back on Duolingo to learn German so I can talk with more of you all. But it seems they've added a ton of ads for the free version that I don't remember and in between every lesson I have to watch their ad for "super".

Also, I'm only learning food terms which is helpful but also I know a lot of food terms already because I love German food 😅 but doesn't help me talk about music as much

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
I've never been a Coldplay fan. Of British rock bands from the early to mid 2000s I really love Muse. When I listen to Coldplay it just makes me realize how much more I like Muse hahaha There's something about Chris's voice that I do not like. They do have these very beautiful progressions in their songs I appreciate like at 4:03 in Politik. They were VERY overplayed on the radio. The lyrics don't click with me either.

Beck - Odelay
I've read a few toots and you all are quick to poo poo this one. It is nostalgic for me. A welcome reprieve from the pop crap at the time. It reminds me of going to the mall with my friends and going into Spencer's to buy some overpriced offensive t-shirts and hemp jewelry. Sure his voice isn't great, and sometimes the songs are boring, but I still dig it.
