@seekingfreedom @heyfluxay Uggggh, I have to get an implant so I can get a crown. I'm missing a molar and the new dentist is getting all hyphy about how even though it's been fine for the past 5-6 years, it could cause issues in the future. I'm not looking forward to getting a hole drilled in my jaw.

@trixter I don't even know if you can still get it but I swap between the stock kb and Fleksy. I can't figure out how to get the stock kb to not occasionally autocrorect the PREVIOUS word sometimes and it drives me flat bonkers.

@heyfluxay You've got a slightly more natural smile over the brick, but I like the way the color came out with the pine.

For a professional/business shot I think the smile is less important and I'd go trees. But the brick is a better pic of you.

Going to the Transformers 40th theater event tonight! The original โ€œMore Than Meets the Eyeโ€ multi-parter is a big comfort-watch episode for me, so Iโ€™m really looking forward to this! Not sure if theyโ€™re going to have the special cup and bucket at my theater, but if they do and itโ€™s $20 like Iโ€™ve heard, I might have to indulge.

We are supposed to move away form fossil fuel dependencies and yet I don't see how an average person could ever afford an EV.

"There's not enough consumer demand!"

Hrpppp drrr.... geee I wonder why? I'm no expert, but even with incentives, what, over (average based on quick research, obviously outliers)$40k? Definitely not in my budget.

I'd love to to be rely on alternate transit or heck, being a one vehicle household, but that isn't possible.

@heyfluxay IMO, the idea of moving away from fossil fuel dependencies primarily depends on moving away from car-centric commuter culture.

EV bikes make WAY more sense than EV cars. For cars, plugin hybrids are going to be the best bet until the charging infrastructure stops sucking ass, which I don't see happening anytime soon.

@heyfluxay Even if you could ride, how's the lockup situation at the destination? It surprises me the places where there's just not a good spot to lock up a bike.

I'd love for it to be a super easy "just do X", but it's a super hard "if everybody would just..." and nobody is going to just.

Anyone else watch Saber Rider as a kid?

This was one of those shows I had NO idea what it was, but it was on a 6:30 in the morning before I had to leave for school, so I'd happily crunch my cereal and watch mecha fights every morning until we got cable and Dad dictated the only two acceptable things to be on were CMT and the Weather Channel.
