I just received a letter; I need to renew my SHA paperwork because there are discrepancies that were brought to their attention.

She is now well past being fucking petty.

My SSI is suspended pending an audit, because of the same person.,and now my housing assistance is now in jeopardy.

I have no safety net whatsoever, unlike her.

I swear she is trying to cause my death

And boichik is the one who is suffering, and is going to suffer over all of this.

This is why I have been pushing myself to stream DJ sets, we need the help.

Streaming music is something practical I can do, when my health lets me, and hope for donations to keep boichik and I afloat.

To be honest, I hate my life right now.

We are drowning, not even trading water anymore.

Oh fuck my life.

I just recievecd a letter from SSA stating they have suspended my disability income and medicare (and thus boichik's too). I am under auditor fraud because I have been reported as having lied about having employment even before I applied for disability to current day, and I may need to pay all my visibility back.

Boichiks eema is gloating over having been the one to file the report to SSA, SHA/HUD, the LEAP program for energy assistance, and to the cable company (low income assistance for internet). and is praying I lose all assistance.

I am going to bounce rent on Monday, and all utilities. and she is is still demanding I pay on one of her credit cards.

Oh for fucks sake. her lawyer sent me a semi-itemized list and let me know that besides what's on the list, everything I have purchased since the date we got married is to be turned over to a liquidator and sold.

This includes all my DJ gear, my computer, NAS, the first TV I have ever owned (considering how old I am, don't laugh, I just never had a use for a TV before my health collapsed), hell even my clothes are on the list.

Considering that she threw out almost everything I owned over the time she spent here.

This leaves me with a fedora, my tefillin, a tallis gadol, my riding leathers, my shabbos candles, and my tzaydi's siddur, and that's it.

I want to scream right now, considering how many years ago she abandoned us.

This is sheer fucking pettiness.

So my heart and lung specialist and my rheumatologist have told me [and I shall politely paraphrase] that "moving to Bellingham is the dumbest fucking thing you could possibly do, with your lack of transportation and their lack of services, compounded with the distance to Seattle. What you are talking about is tantamount to suicide.

You are jewish. Have you forgotten the care you will not get from St. Jo's Hospital up there? They will let you die if anything happens. There are still ongoing lawsuits over their treatment of non-Catholics or Christians in general."

B'ham is a beautiful place, and so is Fairhaven. but the underside of things is something quite dark.

Once upon a time B'ham was a Sundown City, that has changed since the '60s.

But, they have become more and more... shall we say conservative, in the past 8-10 years. Frightningly so.

Ok, I need a good divorce lawyer who can work on a sliding scale [I have absolutely no money]

I will need documents reviewed for me and to do the best in boichik's interests, if not mine own.

Boichik's mother has filed in Whatcom County to avoid any bureaucratic delays [or delays of any kind] or any government oversite that one gets in Seattle / King County.

Whatcom fast-tracks divorces like mad, and I do not have the means or legal understanding to follow the paperwork.

I did, however, notice there is no parenting plan whatsoever. [which is frightening for boichik and I, as I am his sole caretaker, single parent] and this is not flying at all for boichik.

And that the lawyer has filed for a portion of my SSI/Disability income. [I don't get enough for boichik and I to survive on as it is]

Her lawyer is expecting me to sign the paperwork right now and I will not sign anything without a 3rd party and legal representation.

    A small rant about how words mean things, apropos of current discourse:

    "Zionism" means simply "Jewish nationalism." The idea, unthinkable for centuries, that Jews are a people, like any other, like the French, the Irish, the Sri Lankans, equal in dignity and the right to self-governance.

    Zionism does NOT mean hatred of non-Jews, any more than "Black lives matter" means, other lives don't. It doesn't imply approval of all policies of the state of Israel or all warfare conducted by that country. Most of all, it does not mean some kind of imperialist aspiration. Israel, a country of 10 million people with no natural resources to speak of, is not trying to build an empire. You can tell that by how, despite military superiority, it has not attempted to conquer its neighbours. Not even after said neighbours tried to destroy it repeatedly.

    Another thing: "genocide" means, according to a Google search, "the deliberate killing or severe mistreatment of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group" The part between the asterisks there is important: genocide does NOT mean, killing a large number of people, full stop. It is not a synonym for "war."
