I learned yesterday that Michael J. Fox filmed “Teen Wolf” and “Back to the Future” simultaneously, usually one in the morning and one at night. There was also a Family Ties special in there. On one day he filmed all three. 😮

Justice Merchan called ’s lawyer to a sidebar to say Trump was “cursing audibly” & possibly intimidating Daniels... “I understand your client is upset at this pt, but he is cursing audibly & shaking his head visually & that’s contemptuous. It has the potential to intimidate the witness & the jury can see that...I am speaking to you here at the bench because I don’t want to embarrass him. You need to speak to him. I won’t tolerate that.”

The judge is being diplomatic and, considering that he’s under a microscope to give Trump a fair trial, it’s good that he is. That’s the kind of statement a government lawyer seeking to uphold a conviction can point to do demonstrate that the judge was not biased against him, something that Trump will likely make his lawyers waste paper on during a direct appeal.

This morning at 7:31, #Trump ripped Judge Merchan online — before it was public that Stormy Daniels would be testifying — saying, "I have just recently been told who the witness is today. This is unprecedented … No Judge has ever run a trial in such a biased and partisan way."

I have a real challenge when I see people I know boosting from accounts I know to be antisemitic, even if the thing they're boosting isn't.

Sometimes this is an indicator that the booster doesn't know who they're boosting.

Other times, it's an indicator that I want to not follow this person anymore.

Do others deal with this? How do they handle it?

It matters. I block the awful account and then I look at the booster’s history and decide whether to let it go, unfollow, or block.

You often boost emotionally charged political content, so it can overlap. But anyone that knows you knows your intent is not to boost coded antisemitism or their benign toots.

Trump's a lying coward. He didn't break the today that I know of. He made a point of avoiding it, in fact... so far.

If he were really willing to be a martyr, he would have made sure he was in jail by now by bashing the jury. He's doing this to rile up his base, but he does NOT want to be in jail.

And “made a counteroffer with consultation with Egypt and Qatar” would be entirely appropriate framing. But pretending they made a deal when the other party isn’t even in the room and doesn’t even know the terms is not a “deal.” And it plays on the emotions of all hopeful people involved in the conflict.

Hamas is interested in self-preservation and possibly retaining control of the strip, as well as Sinwar coming out of their tunnels claiming he “won” by launching 10/7 and surviving. But Hamas is not more interested in peace than it is in the welfare of Gazan civilians.

Epilogue is Rafah op goes forward but Israel sends a delegation to Cairo to see if this self-proclaimed deal that was really a counter offer can be turned into something acceptable.
