The Season 3 story details Robert Kirkman revealed to Variety may not surprise fans of the Invincible comics. Much of what he discussed comes specifically from Invincible #50.
The drop in global fertility has fuck-all to do with glyphosate.
The article doesn’t comment on linking fertility and glyphosate in sperm either way, but it’s worth researching, if someone hasn’t studied that already.
Episode one has great action scenes and great peaceful-family-life with foreshadowing introduction - in great production quality. To the point where I can point to that first episode as great examples of action and mood-setting life-like family life in anime....
The whole concept seemed half baked and rushed from the start, like they took one day to write the story and script and just decided to go with the first draft, instead of going back, editing, and developing the characters and story.
Even though you can tell there was a ton of money put into the production, the story just doesn’t work.
Even the action gets silly towards the end, especially with the badly designed mech suits (open toes?, limited battery life?) and bad and offensive villain concepts like gay sex predator dwarf, black fade poser guy, and I couldn’t watch anything past that.
The best part for me was the delivery guy fight in episode 2.
Maybe he’s been working hard in making anime for so long, bless him, that he doesn’t empathize with those who grew up playing MMORPGs, which is where that comes from.
Who knows, maybe in a few years we’ll have light novels/manga/anime based on mobile gaming tropes to pander to those who grow up playing those.
I mean we have Blue Archive, Touken Ranbu Kan, Mahjong Kan, which are all mobile game adaptations this season already
But those are direct adaptations instead of exploiting some trope that’s common in all mobile games, like “My Gacha Lootbox Ability Gives Me SSS Rare Girlfriends Every Time”
She’s very capable, she thinks she knows everything, but quickly gets into trouble without help from others, and hasn’t learned to get along with others yet.
The medieval people were on some weird shit, man. LSD is a famous thing that comes from moldy rye, but without refrigeration and science-based medicine, who knows what people were ingesting back then?
Of course we never see Bastion’s body getting sucked into the black hole or getting ripped apart in the explosion, so he can conveniently re-appear sometime later.
Renewed thru S4?
Speed running through the X-Men storylines at the rate they are, I’ll be surprised if they can keep this up before running out of material, and having to create their own original stories.

I don’t mean this to be an advertisement, but I have tried a few metal coffee filters, and have not been able to find one that works as well as one from a company called Ovalware. Its the only one I could find that lists a micron size for the inner mesh (40 μm). I’ve found that this draw down time is faster than a paper...
