Im setting up Sonarr right now on my seedbox, however it isn't importing the shows where the torrent is a box set. i.e. all of the seasons contained in one folder. But it did import all other shows where the seasons were in separate folders. How can I fix this ?
Usenet is unmoderated. Once you post it, it sticks forever. We could probably get one of the independent providers to give free access to a new newsgroup. Anyone have any thoughts?...
I guess you could manually scroll through boards and download files that you want but so much of the stuff uploaded is heavily obfuscated so the advantage of an indexer is you can search for a file name and find it quickly and easily

I was reading through the docs and it seems like for private trackers they are actively monitoring the IRC channel for announcements so you can grab new files within seconds of them being active where if I remember correctly my setup for RSS feed monitoring is only doing a new query every 5-10min if not longer.
I mostly use Usenet as well and that was part of the reason for me posting this. If your happy with Prowlarr then keep using it. I still use nzbhydra2 😅.

Even if the domain isn't using Lemmy in the name I would think the page still has the word Lemmy in the metadata so it should still show up if you just treated it like how you append reddit to the end of a search.
Is it possible for someone to build a mastodon client that can also display and follow Lemmy/kbin groups so that they display correctly? I would love to switch over to my defcon.social account and do everything from that profile.
