According to users on is now restoring users deleted and edited comments. We expected this but what I didn't expect was to find an FAQ from Reddit stating that they cannot ever restore deleted comments.

Woah, if this is true that's opening Reddit up to massive lawsuits because it's a blatant violation of both the GDPR and CCPA. I don't imagine it's going to make investors thrilled to throw their money at the company, either.

There should be a way to link federated communities together, for sure. The microblog tag subscription mechanic could probably be modified to also follow threads from selected communities on different instances.
