I wrote an article about the 3 games and just how good they are. Imo, they're extremely underrated. I really wanna play more games similar to it but I can't find much in the way of isometric collectathons(?) at all. Looking for any suggestions. Apologies if this isn't the right spot. GBA is retro right?...
The banjo game looks right up my alley. Idk, something about these kinda-jank and simple GBA games just appeals to me so much. Didn't know Conker had a GBC game. It looks about how I would expect it lol. Thanks.
Man, I've never actually used Mobygames aside from seeing it in Google search once in a while. Didn't know you could do those kinds of searches. Way better than trying to trawl through IGDB. Gonna check this out. Thanks! I already see a few that definitely fit the bill (and all GBA too!)
That looks cool. Not what I'm looking for but interesting. Reminds me a bit of the MegamanEXE games.
Collectathons are just games (usually platformers) where you collect a bunch of stuff. Spyro you got the items in each level, gems, chests, sidequests (that give you items) and so on. There's a lot of stuff to collect. Banjo Kazooie is another collectathon.
I'm on a pleroma instance. It's very nice. I'm on a mastadon account but I don't use that much. I much prefer pleroma. Idk, more friendly people there.
I love the Zenfone and have had nothing but good dealings with ASUS. I would have gotten a Zenfone 11 U as my next phone but headphone jack on the bottom is a dealbreaker.
I'm not sure I would recommend Xiaomi. It is possible to unlock the bootloader but is a massive pain with lots and lots of waiting.
No idea about OnePlus. I've heard their good; never looked into it.
I wouldn't recomend the Nothing Phone, especially if you're worried about carrying another dongle. You could always get usb-c earbuds/headphones.
You could also wait for the new Sony Xperia 5 VI. Headphone jack, similar size (as far as we know) and years of updates. No idea how Sony is with he headphone jack.
Moondrop is also coming out with a phone but there hasn't been much info about it.
Alone: The Horror Begins is allegedly (more on that later) a J2ME game developed by Centrescore, a company I can barely find any information about. This company is hard to track down. After scouring their old website I still can't figure out where they were even located. I guess somewhere in the U.S.A. but even then all the info...
The Zelda games on the Game Boy and Colour are unique within the Zelda series as a whole. Strange plots, enemies, music, mystery and even gameplay plague the three games. Hell, in Link's Awakening half the enemies are straight up from Super Mario Bros. And the oracle games come with novels and feature interconnected password...
Whoa. Both those games are exactly what I was looking for. Beyond the Mountains looks like it even uses graphics from the games. I gotta give it a try. Prodigal too. Can't believe I've never heard of those. Thanks!
If you haven't played Anodyne or Lenna's Inception you 100% need to do so. Lenna's Inception also has a 'meta-game' aspect that is by far the best in it's genre (beating out Evoland).

Anyone know any games similar to the Spyro GBA ones? Isometric collectathons? I need more like this.

Well discord isn't completely comparable to IRC but the look of that client sure is!
