Does anyone else have multiple accounts while looking for new reddit alts? So far I've got accounts on Lemmy, kbin, and Squabbles and I've been lurking on Raddle, Sqwok, and Tildes from the outside....
I did squabbles, Mastodon, Fedia and Kbin. I think I've settled in for Kbin though as I can access the content on the whole fediverse all from a somewhat familiar interface.
I'm not sure I trust the squabbles developer keeping everything all closed source.
I've been playing MW5 with some mates and were playing as a fictional mercenary group we called Ironclad Company. I decided to follow in that vein and try and think of a scheme that could suit them.
I found Duncan Rhodes draconian combine tutorial super helpful and substituted my own colours in. Games workshop's website has a great recommendation system where you can pick a single colour and it will automatically recommend others that go well with it.
I've not really had any exposure to the TT game short of BattleTech on PC but I was a huge MechWarrior 2 fan back when I was a kid which has persisted ever since.
Definitely enjoyed the couple of small TT games I've tried though!
Why not both!? You could always have a mix of both to play against! 😁 I know my plan is eventually to have an IS company and clan Trinary to pit against each other
I'm in AU so I race in a community called Octane Online Racing (OOR) that has a several concurrent series from rookies all the way up to eSports. I race in the endurance series mostly which are 8-12h events once a month in teams of 2-4. Grid is usually around 50 teams.
Pings for LFM can be a bit extreme for us I've heard. Do you race in LFM? I've heard it's supposed to be good.
System Shock is really fun! It definitely challenges you to think your way through - I'm not too versed in the original but it is definitely worth it so far.

You should be able to look at content from basically anywhere in the fediverse from either as I understand it(unless specific blocks are put in place). It doesn't matter what you use to access the content; kbin.social, fedia.io, mastodon, lemmy and so on. They can all talk to each other.
Over the many years I've tried to get into gaming (Dark Souls, Cats, Valorant, Hogwarts, Portal, etc), I've always backed out due to motion sickness. I'm getting really tired of never truly enjoying any gaming experience so it'd be nice to have some non-motion-sickness-inducing games to try out.
My partner gets motion sickness mostly in fpa titles. She loves playing Rimworld, Stardew Valley and Dinkum which she seems fine with. We've found mostly either top-down or 3rd person games work best for her. Best of luck!
