The same person who leaked the existence of Metroid Dread assures that a Spanish developer has received the development kit for the successor to Nintendo Switch.
Aaah that makes a lot more sense I was sitting here going "no way is Nintendo gonna release a handheld computer with root access..." but performance wise that tracks lol
I live in bumfuck Egypt and mostly everybody drives a truck. They are awful, giant, and dangerous. I do not feel that the majority of people that use them actually need them, but everybody has bought into the marketing campaign that in order to be a real man you gotta drive some big fuckoff vehicle. It'sd asinine
Supraland was some of the most fun I have had playing a video game in years. I cannot recommend it enough, it's art style is deceptively simplistic but the puzzles are wonderful and clever and new in a way other games haven't been able to do in a long time.
I think the second half of 2023 (well more like Q4/september) is gonna be amazing for game releases. Games like Payday 3, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield. Any other I missed that you're excited for?
Super Mario RPG is the thing that may make me dust off the switch this year after TOTK but I dunno. I wanted it for all these years and now I can"t escape the thought that it's still kinda creatively bankrupt
That looks like a beautiful handheld device designed to run SNES ROMs running Chrono Trigger. Maybe a kickstarter fabrication or somebody makes them to order? It looks so nice that display panel is c r i s p
Ghee, or Indian-style clarified butter, is butter that's been simmered and the milk solids (proteins and sugars) skimmed off. This leaves a clear yellow oil that doesn't smoke when it's heated and doesn't go rancid quickly, but has a distinct toasty butter flavor....
The point is to be conscious about the shit you're eating and where it comes from, not to demonize butter or animal products on the whole. Factory farming is a horrid practice that I don't support but I've worked with local livestock outfits for 15 years and see the care they put into production. Not every pound of butter is wrought on a life of pure suffering, and to reject the fundamental role of death in life's process is just a bizarre and sterile approach to living.
I think it just comes down to being a basic considerate human being. Shoot all the fireworks you like if you're not at risk of bugging anyone. I live on the edge of town in a mostly commercial district so around the 4th I'll fire off whatever but if I lived in a neighborhood I'd either leave town or not buy fireworks. Pretty easy stuff.

Leader of the Wagner group, who have been pretty involved in Russia's offensive on Ukraine, said this morning that Russia had engaged a rocket strike on some of their rear camps resulting in casualties. Now he is supposedly marching on the southern Russian military HQ and picking up Russian soldiers along the way. Russia considers this an act of war.
Well if everyone defederated the message would be clear: Meta is unwelcome here. Their following press releases would probably spin a very different narrative about immature tech and privacy concerns.
Yeah that's what i was going to say, the AAA industry may be stagnating but it has never been easier for creators to make their own games and there is some awesome stuff coming out of that market

Has to be Street Fighter 6 for me but as a long time lover of the series I can't help but feel they delivered extremely hard on this one. But from a sheer "oh wow" point of view TotK is outrageous like man what a game. I just like clickity stickity action.
I remember now why I stopped #gaming when I switched to #Linux: gaming on Linux sucks. But blahblah #Proton good it works on my machine. One, I don't believe you. The experience on MY machine sucks so bad there is no way this works on any machine, but keep sipping denial juice. Two, sure it 'works', in the same way mowing the lawn with a pair of scissors works. I just want to press enter and play a game, not hack into the mainframe because a fullscreen game crashes GNOME and restarts my PC!
@thomy2000 idk my Steam Deck runs pretty much everything really well like I get that's proprietary but at least it's proof that Proton can be made to function well
