By focusing solely on China or Russia and other state actors, Canada is missing the potentially far more troubling forces that proved so disruptive during last year’s convoy protest, Susan Delacourt writes.
But how precisely did this happen? What agency was responsible and how was it... Acted upon? I'm trying to imagine this as a city worker, like was there a responsible crew for doing this? Who gave the initial order for it?

It’s possible that the enforcement of a rate limit isn’t because of AI scraping, but rather because they failed to migrate before the June 30th deadline.
Sounds like you're making assumptions. And I'm telling you that it was profitable before purchase. It doesn't matter where it would be today or where they were before being profitable because both of those things aren't relevant.
Can anyone explain to me how guns will help if the national guard is at your door? Or the military? Do people really think that they could go to war against the United States because the US government becomes overrun by fascists?
At worst you'll be labeled a terrorist and immediately murdered. Even if you ignore the military, brandishing a gun Infront of a cop is a death sentence (if you aren't white).
Porn viewers in Virginia, Arkansas, and Mississippi are now met with a video imploring them to contact their representatives about age-verification laws.
All of it doesn't matter till it happens to you specifically. Just like the only moral abortion is the one I get. These people are basically regressives in every aspect of society.
People's driving senses are so fucking bad, I can't imagine them flying. It'll be in the news often I guess "car crashes into building while trying to back up." "car flies into power lines thousands without power" well I guess that's fairly typical already.
I think OP is specifically referring to people not dancing the way he wants them to. Or professionally. Honestly, I don't know how to dance but I know how to move my hips, and I love just moving to a beat. But it sounds like with this dude around I'd probably stay off the dance floor because he might want some organized, swing dance competition.
It also makes a big difference what kind of music they play. Whether they've got an open bar. I made sure at my wedding it basically became a club, open bar, very dim lighting, actual modern dance music, literally every single person was dancing for hours. Another one I went to turned into basically a concert, the live band started playing some rock and roll and we were all drunk. Best wedding I've ever been to.
Nah you'll have an AI combing through multiple sources of social media to put together a "consensus" based on overall public opinion on various social media sources. I hope, or you know they'll just reference Facebook posts.
Well I'm sure they announce it early because it's not for us, it's for the investors. But I think there is a downside, announcing it too early with like a CGI trailer puts it in the news and gets it talked about, but gamers develop an "vision" of how the game might be and you end up with a product that will definitely disappoint a lot of people. I'd say cyberpunk was one, due to the announcement time and what they actually showed it was hyped to the moon and back (people talk about games so they just started assuming).
If you look back on it now, people's expectations and ideas of what the game was going to be were very different than what the product ended up being (besides the bugs). I would rather get the game announced with real fucking gameplay.
Yeah and atleast with leaks you don't get fervent talk about the game and what it might be like, building up hope before seeing true gameplay and then being immediately disappointed when seeing it in action. That Dune MMO is going to disappoint me I'm sure.
Not particularly, things that are leaks or rumors have stayed out of my sight for the most part. But CGI trailers at big gaming conventions get more eyes, get more people talking about. Atleast from my point of view, I just follow mainstream gaming news.
The White House cautiously endorsed the idea of studying how to block sunlight from hitting Earth’s surface as a way to limit global warming in a congressionally mandated report that could help bring efforts once confined to science fiction into the realm of legitimate debate.

As we start to see more users join, it's inevitable to see trolls (especially low-effort trolls) making more of an appearance and trying to be controversial and noticed....
...what the fuck? The guy who's got a record of felonies he's in court for, and has been absolutely the most fascist piece of shit to happen to America could easily have leftists supporters? The guy who lost "bigly" in the popular vote and created the most partisan and polarized political voters possible? This is Q Anon level of reality.
If there is a leftist in the "lots of trump supporters", they are by definition, not a leftist.
Except the difference is: leftists have empathy. Sympathy. They care for their fellow human whom they haven't met. They are called "progressives" for a reason. Right wing is being regressive, to hurt people not like you. It's about cruelty specifically.
You're talking about moderates that don't give a shit. I'm talking about the actual term leftists.
Oh Jimmy, it's not always about the effort or length of a post that defines a troll. A troll is someone who purposefully stirs up conflict or posts inflammatory or off-topic messages to distract and control the conversation, often eliciting emotional responses.
Check it out: So, imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car, alright? Then someone, let's call them SJ_Zero, comes over and says, "Oh, that's a nice car, but did you see this super-duper rocket? And oh, did I tell you about this ultra-cool submarine I once had? And oh, there was this time when I played with a helicopter..." and on and on they go!
What happened to your toy car? Poof, it's forgotten, lost in the whirl of rockets, submarines, and helicopters. That's what SJ_Zero is doing here, taking us on a whirlwind tour of election history, far away from our original chat about the 2020 election and how Trump lost.
So you get it Jimmy? And that's why you shouldn't feed the trolls.
The target of keeping long-term global warming within 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 Fahrenheit) is moving out of reach, climate experts say, with nations failing to set more ambitious goals.
People are already dying from the effects of climate change. If you think intense wildfires, record-breaking heat, failing power grids, uninsurable homes, and disasters disproportionately impacting poor nations are normal or sustainable, you're mistaken. The climate crisis is here and worsening, whether or not you care about future generations. It's a difference between civilizations collapse or a semi-livable planet.
